Parents' and Pupils’ Survey Feedback on Remote Learning 2020_21

 

•            100% of parents responding would recommend our academy to other prospective parents

 

•            100% of parents/pupils responding were at least satisfied with the ‘quality of teaching & learning’ throughout lockdown, and two-thirds of parents were ‘very satisfied’

 

•            ‘Best thing’ about our remote learning:

-      1) regular feedback

-      1) easy to access and submit work

-      2) support always available

-      3) caring and personalised approach

-      3) well planned

-      3) supported by offering laptop or iPad on loan

 

•            92% of pupils positively interested in our remote learning content with 33% very/extremely interested

 

•            92% of pupils were interested in our remote learning content, 33% were very or extremely interested

 

•            90% of parents/pupils thought that we improved our remote learning offering during lockdown3 (compared to lockdown1)

 

•            92% of parents were satisfied (58% very satisfied) with how staff at school have supported them and their children throughout Covid-19 with 3 national lockdowns, phased returns, full re-openings and changes to operations resulting from risk assessments

 

•            67% of responses related to pupils who had been at home the whole time through lockdown

 

•            83% of responses said their pupils received learning through ClassDojo & Oak National Academy rather than any other medium

 

•            Pupils’ favourite lessons were, in order:

-      1) TimesTablesRockStars

-      2) Live lessons with class teacher - guided reading

        and phonics

-      2) Numbots

-      2) Spelling Shed

-      3) Reading

-      3) Oak National Academy videos
