• Armistice Week

  The children will be carrying out all sorts of tasks and activities the week before Armistice Week to mark 100 years since the end of WW1.  

  We have and will be helping create some of the decorations for the Parish Council's event which will be held on Sunday 11th November 2018, more information can be found on the Letters Home page.  

  More details to follow, but we would very warmly ask you to join us in the parade and service on Remembrance day. 

  

• Thank your Vicar

  The children and staff of Salford Priors C.of E. Academy welcomed Rev Peter Walker to the school to hold a very special assembly to mark Thank your Vicar day.  

  The children prepared a special song and some lovely readings as well as presenting Rev Walker with a specially designed card and gifts. 

  

• Harvest Service & Collection

  All the children and teaching staff attended the Harvest Service at St Matthew's church, where the children performed songs, poems and readings amazingly.  We offered some of our food collection to the church also during the service.

  The remainder of the food was donated to the Salvation Army towards food banks in the local area.
